Introduction
Hatching Point ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Daily Doodle Desk mobile application.
Information We Collect
- Optional Usage Data: If you choose Share usage, bounded onboarding, successful doodle-save, reliability, and subscription-outcome events help us improve the app. They exclude your drawings, prompt text, reminder times, preference values, feedback text, transaction identifiers, and raw errors.
- Purchase Information: Subscription status (processed by Apple, we don't see payment details)
- Support: Feedback you choose to submit, an optional reply email, and device and app diagnostic context used to respond to your request.
How We Use Your Information

- Analyze usage to improve features
Third-Party Services
- Apple: App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. Data is stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks.
- PostHog: Processes optional anonymous usage events on our behalf, without identified profiles or session replay.
- Convex: Stores support submissions so we can investigate and respond.
Your Privacy Choices
Optional usage sharing is off until you choose Share usage. Continue without sharing lets you decline. Change or withdraw your choice in Privacy choices in Desk Settings or on the membership screen without purchasing. Withdrawal stops future optional usage collection.
Advertising measurement is separate. Meta and TikTok, when configured and authorized, may process permitted identifiers and app or purchase events. Cross-app tracking requires Apple's tracking permission; Share usage does not grant it. Drawing content and private journal details are not sent as advertising events. Apple's privacy-preserving attribution may also report campaign performance without cross-app tracking.
Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device.
- No Drawing Cloud Backup: We do not maintain a cloud copy of your drawings. Optional analytics, support submissions, and authorized advertising measurement use the services described above.
- Encryption: All data transmitted uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
Your Rights
- Access: View all data stored in the app
- Delete: Remove your data at any time
- Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store
Children's Privacy
Daily Doodle Desk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Optional advertising measurement
Some Hatching Point apps include Meta's SDK in a disabled state. It initializes only when measurement is enabled for that app and you authorize tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. When enabled, device identifiers, product interactions, and verified purchase event details such as value and currency may be shared with Meta for advertising measurement and analytics. Payment-card details are never shared. You can deny the request or revoke permission later in iOS Settings.
