Introduction

Hatching Point ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Block Bloom mobile application.

Information We Collect

Optional Usage Data: With your permission, PostHog receives bounded onboarding steps, puzzle-session stages, line-clear and bloom counts, stats views, app version and platform, and purchase or error categories. Usage events exclude board contents, piece and game-session identifiers, exact scores or durations, preferences, notification content, feedback messages and email, transaction identifiers, and raw errors.
Purchase Information: Subscription status (processed by Apple, we don't see payment details)
Support: Feedback you choose to send includes your message, optional email, and basic app/device diagnostics so Hatching Point can respond.
Advertising Measurement: Where configured and permitted by Apple tracking authorization, Meta and TikTok may receive device identifiers, app activity and purchase events for attribution. This permission is separate from optional usage sharing.

Third-Party Services

Apple: App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. Puzzle boards, preferences and aggregate game progress are stored locally using Apple frameworks.
PostHog: Processes optional product usage events. Automatic screen/tap capture, session replay, identified profiles and GeoIP enrichment are disabled.
Convex: Hosts Hatching Point support and app-service records.
Meta and TikTok: Measure permitted advertising attribution separately from optional usage analytics. Denying Apple tracking does not prevent gameplay.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your board state and game progress stay on your device; they are not included in optional usage events.
Service Records: Permitted usage, attribution, purchase and voluntarily submitted support records are processed by the services described above. Contact us about applicable access or deletion requests.
Encryption: All data transmitted uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Choose: Share usage & continue or Continue without sharing on first launch. Neither choice requires a purchase.
Withdraw: Change optional usage sharing in Settings → Privacy choices or the paywall Privacy choices link. Withdrawal stops future optional usage collection; contact us about previously submitted service records. Apple tracking permission is managed separately in iOS Settings.
Delete: Remove your data at any time
Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store

Children's Privacy

Block Bloom is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Optional advertising measurement

Some Hatching Point apps include Meta's SDK in a disabled state. It initializes only when measurement is enabled for that app and you authorize tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. When enabled, device identifiers, product interactions, and verified purchase event details such as value and currency may be shared with Meta for advertising measurement and analytics. Payment-card details are never shared. You can deny the request or revoke permission later in iOS Settings.
